Not for the faint hearted, Gold Coast Sky Diving will be sure to have the heart racing! Take a short scenic flight over iconic beaches before free falling over 7,500 ft and landing on beautiful Kirra Beach. The adrenaline rush will keep you buzzing for weeks!

The Canyon Flyer at Mount Tamborine’s Tree Top Challenge is an adventure that will test your strength and endurance. Make your way along the High Ropes before flying through the rainforest along Australia’s Longest Zipline. With courses ranging from easy to extreme, the Tree Top Challenge will take approx. 4 hours to complete and can be enjoyed by the whole family!

For the condensed version, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary offers a smaller scale adventure which sees you climbing high in the bushland and ziplining over kangaroo’s & crocs! Then afterwards, enjoy the serenity of the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and visit all your furry friends. It’s a fun day out the whole family can enjoy!

The Southern Gold Coast holds a number of scuba diving locations where you can get up close and personal with Australia’s marine life. Visit the Kirra Reef, Nine Mile Reef & Cook Island dive spots, just off the beaches of Southern GC with Kirra Dive. As you drift from coral to rock, you will encounter the peaceful life of the oceans species from octopus, turtles and tropical reef fish to larger species such as stingrays, wobbegongs and reef sharks (they don’t bite!).

Located in the Northern Rivers-Tweed Range and a 40 minute drive from Kirra Palms, stands Mt Warning. The mountain is ex-volcanic and reaches 1,159 m above sea level making it one of Australia’s tallest mountains. The Summit Track takes approx. 5 hours to complete the round-trip trek, but the views from the top are nothing short of spectacular. Fun Fact: the Summit of Mt Warning is the first to glimpse the sunlight from the East so head south for the sunrise!

Fortunately for us, the famous thrill-seeker adventure parks are all located within a 40 minute drive from Kirra Palms. For those who want action and adrenaline Dreamworld & Movieworld are perfect. For the animal lovers, head to SeaWorld to see the CUTEST Polar Bears, or for those hot days, cool off at White Water World or Wet’N’Wild!
