Kirra is a beach-side suburb of the southern Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
A small rocky headland, Kirra Point, separates Kirra beach to the north and Coolangatta beach to the south, and is noted as one of the world’s premier surf breaks.
We continuously get returnee guests because of the convenience of our location. Only an 80 meter walk directly in front of us and you will have the beautiful soft sand underneath your feet on our amazing Kirra Beach!
A very short walk north and you have a selection of cafes, restaurants, sky diving and a small shopping precinct to top up on daily items.
Directly over the road is Kirra Hotel, where you can enjoy a pub meal and an ice-cold beverage while looking out at the endless horizon.
A 10 minute flat and breathtakingly scenic walk around the Kirra Headland you will be in the heart of Coolangatta, where you have a range of cafes, restaurants, cinemas, arcade for the kids, learn to surf schools, beach volleyball courts and more.
From Kirra Palms you can safely walk or bike ride along the pathways north or south taking in the beaches, sunshine and fresh air.
We are within 1-15 minutes walk to major local events such the Quicksilver & Roxy Surf Pro (March), Aussies Surf Life Saving (bi-yearly in March/April), Cooly Classic Ocean Swim (May), Cooly Rocks On! (June), Coolangatta GOLD (October).
